To further accelerate this transformation, INRIX organized a company workshop in June, inviting an industry expert to demonstrate practical strategies for harnessing GenAI to achieve maximum impact and value. This hands-on session equipped the team with actionable insights, ensuring that GenAI would be leveraged to its fullest potential across operations.
In Engineering, INRIX has adopted GenAI technology to accelerate our high pace of innovation. By delegating ‘the toil of engineering’ to GenAI, our team of engineers is focused on more creative and impactful challenges, bringing engineers closer to product design, keeping the customer in mind, and allowing INRIX to deliver more products at a higher rate. Internally, INRIX is already seeing widespread examples of double-digit percentage increases in development velocity facilitating early delivery of key product features to our customers.
In July, a presentation to the company highlighted how an engineering expert used GenAI beyond code generation on a planning project that normally requires two days to complete. GenAI completed the project in 12 minutes and explained the process in full detail. The engineer made edits to ensure that the work was valid and to our standards. GenAI assists our engineers by handling tedious tasks, allowing them to concentrate on product design and development. This collaboration between GenAI and our experts allows us to produce high-quality work more efficiently.
The company’s full adoption of GenAI early on has put INRIX in a strong position. By adopting GenAI early, INRIX can stay ahead and leap forward in the mobility space as others are sluggish in their adoption.
